Sanimtacá Cooperative
Alta Verapaz, Guatemala

Sanimtacá Agricultural Cooperative is located past Samac Cooperative in a volcanic crater.  Until recently, residents had to walk out of the crater to reach public transportation to schools and markets.  The pikb’il weaving style is practiced by women who weave in this community.
